Semarang, April 22, 2026 \u2013 The Government Science Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (FISIP Undip), welcomed a visit from SMA Cikal Serpong, Jakarta during a visit and sharing session held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The event took place in the Theater Room, Building C, 1st Floor, FISIP Undip, from 1:20 PM to 2:30 PM WIB.<\/p>\n

The visit was attended by 51 tenth-grade students from SMA Cikal Serpong Jakarta. The event carried the theme \u201cYouth Action and Social Change in the Reform Movement,\u201d aimed at providing students with insights into the role of youth especially university students in the dynamic landscape of social and political change in Indonesia.<\/p>\n

The event began with the arrival of the students, followed by an opening by the MC, singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, and a welcoming speech from the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin. In his remarks, the Dean warmly welcomed the delegation from SMA Cikal Serpong Jakarta, enthusiastically introduced the advantages of studying at FISIP Undip from its facilities and achievements to the Government Science Study Program\u2019s accomplishments, which include ranking 2nd nationally with an excellent accreditation and international certification (FIBAA). This was followed by a speech from Mr. Rahadi, a teacher from SMA Cikal Serpong, who expressed his pride as a fellow alumnus of the Government and Political Science Study Program and explained the purpose of the visit.<\/p>\n

During the event, participants received two main material sessions. The first session was delivered by 2024 Government Science students, Rexza Taofik Ananda and Zahrotul Firdausiyah, who shared their experiences and perspectives as students. The second session was moderated by Mr. Faiz Kasyfilham, M.A., with Ms. Nenny Marlina, M.A. as the speaker, presenting the topic \u201cWhen Students Change the Direction of the Nation: 1998.\u201d This session discussed the crucial role of students in the 1998 reform movement as a key part of significant change in Indonesia\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

The event ran interactively with a Q&A session between participants and the speakers. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the active discussions throughout the session.<\/p>\n

Through this activity, students are expected to gain an understanding of the importance of the younger generation\u2019s role in bringing about social change and to obtain insights into university life, particularly in the field of Government Science. Additionally, this activity serves as a means to strengthen the relationship between secondary and higher education institutions.<\/p>\n
