A community of governance studies department students have implemented a work program, namely If I Were President (IIWP). If I Were President is a tool to accommodate and distribute the aspirations and ideas of high school students and schoolgirls by delivering a vision of mission in the form of mindmap so that not only can develop the creativity of students, this competition also gives them the opportunity to argue like a presidential candidate in order to solve the problem. And as a means of learning to be a leader who can break the machine in the most effective and efficient way without causing negative effects in most communities.

The theme of the If I Were President event was “I’m in Indonesia to be sparkling or asleep? “. Then for the participants of the event, I Were President himself was a high school student/SMK/MA/equal of the residence of Semarang. IIWP itself was implemented in the Auditorium of building A FISIP UNDIP, followed by 6 pairs of participants consisting of SMA Negeri 13 Semarang, SMA Negeri 8 Semarang, SMA YSKI Semarang, SMA Islam Hidayatullah, SMA Negeri 2 Semarang team A and SMA Negeri 2 team B.

The activity of the If I Were President was divided into 3 rounds consisting of the delivery of vision and mission, Orasi and questions and the delivery of solutions from each panellist. In each of these rounds, the participants were enthusiastic and eager to convey the vision of the mission in the debate, especially when they asked the opponent questions to each other. The winners of IIWP 2019 were won by YSKI SMA as Juara1, SMA Negeri 2 Semarang team A as champion 2and SMA Negeri 2 team B as champion 3. It is also awarded the award or category of the best times won by SMA Negeri 13 Semarang.
