Semarang (19/9) – The Study Program of Government Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro along with the Association of Indonesian Government Studies Lecturers (Asosiasi Dosen Ilmu Pemerintahan Seluruh Indonesia / ADIPSI) recently held an International Seminar that discussed Government, Media & Public Services as well as the Inauguration of ADIPSI Management for the 2022 – 2025 period. The activity, which took place online through the Zoom meeting, was held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 and presented several speakers from within and outside the country. They were Prof. Vandana Pednekar-Magal (Grand Valley State University), Prof. Dyah Mutiarini, S.IP., M. Si. (University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta), and Afrizal Sintong, S.I.P. (Regent of Rokan Hilir Riau).

Based on the decision of the Chairperson of the Association of Indonesian Government Studies Lecturers No. 01SKKU/ADIPSI/9/2022 regarding the Appointment of the Management of the Indonesian Government Studies Lecturers Association for the 2022/2025 period, Dr. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol. Admin as Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs FISIP Undip as well as a lecturer in Government Studies FISIP Undip had been inaugurated as Chairperson of ADIPSI for the 2022-2025 period.

In his remarks, the Chairperson of ADIPSI for the 2022-2025 period suggested that this management should contribute to the government process and become a responsive board that was in accordance with the character of good governance. He also hoped that the new management would not only understand the theory but also be an expert in its implementation. In addition, Teguh emphasized that lecturers should prioritize the interests of students in advancing and increasing the contribution of Government Studies lecturers in teaching education, research, publications, and community service.
