Temanggung (30/7), Undip Team II KKN Students in 2024 conducted a work program on digitalisation training for archiving village documents as an activity to support good archives in accordance with archival Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Village archives are records generated from activities carried out in the respective village.

The training on digitalisation of village archives took place at the Pasuruhan Village Hall Office and was attended by Pasuruhan Village officials. Given that archives are very important and cannot be left unattended, it is necessary to digitise data/documents.

The training on digitalisation of document/data archiving in Pasuruhan Village began with a verbal presentation by Meyla Khofi Yanida from the Government Science Study Program on what digitalisation of document/data archiving is, the purpose of digitalisation of document archiving, the benefits of digitalisation of document archiving, how to create Linktree as a forum for archiving documents/data.

The explanation session related to Digitalisation of Document/Data Archiving was completed, followed by a question and answer session. Some village officials asked questions related to how to add archiving links but the documents can only be viewed. The questions asked by village officials were answered in accordance with the appropriate answers that were adjusted to the archiving guidebook via Linktree within the scope of the village government. To deepen the material, after the material presentation session and question and answer session, assistance in creating Linktree as a platform for digital archiving was provided to Village Officials who have duties in the archives section.

The enthusiasm of the Village Officials in the digitalisation assistance of document/data archiving proves that the Pasuruhan Village Government is starting to pay attention to digital archiving. Archiving digitalisation assistance was conducted to store documents that can be accessed by the community related to the public service administration. The digitisation of archives is organised according to the problems of activities that are adjusted to the archive classification system.

Training and assistance in digitisation of village archives is expected to enhance knowledge and understanding of Pasuruhan Village officials and become a reference in digital archiving. The organization of village archives follows archiving guidelines, ensuring that if the archives are needed in the future, it can be found again quickly and precisely through only one link, namely Linktree.
